We Had a Blast at Petfest - November 2, 2014

Jefferson SPCA sponsors an event called "Petfest" every year at Lafreneire Park in Metairie, LA. The various local dog groups have tents and booths, games, raffles, and contests to raise funds for clubs and rescues. While I belong to a handful of local organizations, I spent my day in the Creole Poodle Rescue Booth, where my newest champion Camille and our friends welcomed visitors into the booth to spend a few bucks for rescue or meet adoptable Creole Poodle Pets and their foster parents. It was a glorious day, and we were able to raise some much needed funds for rescue by selling our popular Creole Poodle Club Tee shirts (we still have some available!), baked goods, dog beds, and more donated items. Enjoy the photos, and please consider donating to Creole Poodle Rescue or a local rescue in your area. If you have any interest in our adoptable rescues, email creolepoodlerescue@yahoo.com

Visit https://www.facebook.com/creolepoodlerescue to see the adoptable dogs and fill out an application.
